"Sugar Free Tibet" Made in China

Here at the SFT office, we've noticed this oddity for awhile now, but it finally just got some wider coverage on Boing Boing.

The cleverly named "Sugar Free Tibet" mints made by Oral Fixations are packaged in tins that are made in China. In our book, that unfortunately cancels out their good intention of donating 10 percent of their proceeds to the Tibetan struggle.

Haha okay please explain to me the logic of putting revenue into the Chinese for the price of giving money to the Tibetans? That is both a) stupid and b) getting nowhere

Hey, it's much better than all the companies that get their stuff made in China and do NOTHING! I'd rather support these mints than any others, any day!

Who cares where the tins come from... I LIKE Wintergreen mints... and now they have stopped selling them.
